The Appellant was charged with and convicted of murdering
his wife contrary to section 196 of the Penal Code. During the hearing of this
appeal it has been observed that, the trial Judge did not put assessors in a
position of giving informed and objective opinions and also his judgment did
not consider testimonies from both sides of the case.
