The Appellant was charged with and convicted of armed
robbery. He was sentenced to the mandatory prison term of 30 years. His appeal
to the High Court was dismissed in its entirety. He further appealed to the
Court of Appeal on three grounds. In the first ground of appeal, the Appellant
complained that both courts below erred in law and facts in not considering the
defence case in their judgments. In the second ground, the Appellant cried foul
over the way the search was conducted at his home. In his last ground of
appeal, the Appellant faulted the lower courts for finding that the Appellant
was sufficiently identified.
