The Appellant was charged with and convicted of the murder of two persons, father and son. The judge entered sentence in each of the two counts. The Appellant appealed to the Court of Appeal of Tanzania complaining that his identification was not watertight as the event occurred at night. The Court considered this ground of appeal and also reflected on the propriety of the sentence.
