The Appellants were arraigned before the District Court on a
charge of cattle theft. They were convicted and each sentenced to a five-year
jail term. They were aggrieved by the convictions and sentences hence this
appeal. The third Appellant contents that a PH was not conducted in his respect
and that his plea was not taken. He further said that some witnesses were not
called to testify. He further state that PW8 was the one found in possession of
the cattle.
