The Appellants were charged with one count of unnatural offence contrary to section 154 (l) (a) of the Penal Code [Cap 16 R.E. 2002] before the District Court of Rombo at Mkuu. The prosecution alleged that on 27th April, 2018 at Nduweni Mbomai village within Rombo district in Kilimanjaro, the Appellants had carnal knowledge of ‘BRO’ (true identity hidden), a man of 50 years old, against the order of nature. After full trial, the Appellants were found guilty and sentenced to serve thirty (30) years in imprisonment. Aggrieved with the decision, Appellants preferred this appeal.
