The Plaintiff instituted a defamation case against the defendants. The first and second defendants raised a point of preliminary objection against the suit. They claimed that the Plaintiff has failed to provide a ninety day statutory notice of his intention to sue the Government; that the Plaintiff has no cause of action as against the defendants; that the Plaintiff amended the contents of the plaint after reading the written statement of defence; and that the content of plaint is frivolous.
