The Appellant filed a case in the Sengerema Urban Primary Court objecting the Respondent from inheriting a house at Nyatukara area in Sengerema on the ground, among others, that the Respondent had no child with her deceased father and that the Appellant and her sisters being the children of the deceased ought to inherit the suit house in exclusion of the Respondent. The Primary Court rejected the Appellant’s argument. Dissatisfied with the decision of the Primary Court appealed to the District Court and upheld the decision of the Primary Court, hence, this appeal to the High Court.
