The Appellant was charged with and convicted of armed
robbery contrary to sections 285 and 286 of the Penal Code by a District Court
and was sentenced to a term of imprisonment for 30 years. His appeal to the
High Court at Tanga was dismissed and he then appealed to the Court of Appeal
challenging the credibility of the prosecution witnesses.
