The Appellant on his own plea of guilty admitted to have
raped a girl aged 7 years old. He was convicted and sentenced to life
imprisonment. His appeal to the High Court was also dismissed, hence the
present appeal. In his Memorandum of Appeal, he faults that his plea was
ambiguous.
